Aston Merrygold Musical Career

With 25+ years in the entertainment industry and best known for his incredible stage presence with band JLS, it’s
no surprise that Aston and the group went on to sell out countless arena tours and sell over 10 million records,
including five Number 1 hit singles and numerous awards. Juggling between that and a hugely successful solo
career Aston has continued to make strides in his career, touring the world including USA, Australia, New Zealand,
Italy and many more.

With Aston set to release new music it follows in a line of commercial Pop hits that include his biggest platinum
debut single, “Get Stupid,” followed by more recent hits like “Sweat,” “Right Here”, “I Ain’t Missing You (Stripped)”
and “You Chose Me.”

Having completed his 5th Uk solo tour selling out the iconic Shepherd’s Bush empire and Koko Camden he sets
out on the road at the end of the year again to tour arenas with JLS. With a huge year in motion Aston’s next single
‘Company’ is set to light up the R&B lovers ears and with the Aston behind the mic and/or Decks the wheels are in
motion for more huge solo shows to come.

He has also appeared in several shows in the world renowned West End, from the likes of Footloose to the Wizard of Oz and also taking part in Strictly Come Dancing & what is arguably the biggest talking point in the hit BBC shows history, causing a huge press uproar.

Alongside his musical and entertainment pursuits and being a husband to Sarah and father to his two sons,
Grayson and Macaulay, and daughter, Riley, Aston has remained at the forefront of entertainment industry.

Having stared in movie ‘Boogie man’ as Danny and Jordan in BBC’s drama ‘Almost never’ Aston is also no stranger
to Acting on screen but also showcasing his expertise and personality as a TV judge on Sky 1’s Got To Dance,
numerous pilots for FOX tv and was unmasked as Robin in the finals of the 2020/2021 series of The Masked
Singer UK.
